Acid Reflux and GERD Diet Tip – Fruits and Vegetables
If you are a patient with either acid reflux disease or Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD,) then simply put; your stomach produces too much acid. This is exactly why two people can sit down to the same meal and one will feel great afterwards and the other one will be in pain.
This week’s acid reflux and GERD diet tip will focus on fruits and vegetables. As I am sure you are aware of, there are literally thousands of different varieties of these foods items.
Unfortunately, for the acid reflux and GERD suffer; most of them should not be consumed. The reason for this is simple; they cause your stomach to generate more acid then the individual food item itself can absorb.
When this happens, of course you will be in pain and will have another attack of either acid reflux or GERD. The good news is that there are plenty of fruits and vegetables that you can have that will allow you to maintain a nutritious, balanced and scrumptious diet.
There are fruits and vegetables that should NEVER be consumed under any circumstances, such as an orange, which is loaded with citric acid and will almost assuredly put you in a state of pain instantly.
But, there are other fruits and vegetables that can be eaten if they are either cooked or prepared properly. As an example let’s look at the onion. This vegetable should NEVER be eaten raw. However, if it is cooked well, like you would find in a stew, soup or if it was sautéed, it then is fine for you to have.
The entire key to ending your pain and suffering, as well as starting the healing process for your LES and esophagus is stopping the acid produced in your stomach from coming in contact with these vital digestive organs. Only when this is accomplished will your pain end completely and will the healing process begin.
Our program is a four step approach, but the vast majority of it is built around the third step, the “Acid Reflux Diet.”
Step 1 – Get off the drugs and medications. They are not natural and have your body doing things it was not designed to do.
Step 2 – Once you are off the drugs, until you get things healed up. You will require short term pain relief like the drugs are presently providing you. In this stage we inform you of an all-natural product that relieves the pain much faster then the drugs, the medication or the antacids do.
Step 3 – The Acid Reflux Diet – This is where we teach you how to stop acid from reaching your LES and esophagus.
Step 4 – The Healing Phase – Only when the acid is no longer damaging your digestive organs can you begin to heal yourself. In this phase we let you know about two all-natural products that will greatly accelerate the process.
I wish you the best of luck. I was in your situation all too long with my Peptic Ulcer and nobody should have to suffer like you are. Only when you stop the acid from reaching your body parts that is should not ever touch, will the pain and agony you now feel stop.
